The Home
Our home is your home. With a fenced back yard, and plenty of spaces to relax including our covered lanai, you can sip a cocktail, read your novel and enjoy the Hawaiian sunshine in total relaxation.
Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home. This well maintained single family 3 bedroom/ 2 bath home is down a quiet col-da-sac in the heart of Kailua just blocks from the beach & town with shopping and restaurants. If you are coming for a 30 day or more vacation, or if you are transitioning between Kailua and the mainland you will find everything you need in this home.
From our house, you can be at the beach in 2 1/2 blocks, the beach park, and in Kailua town with all its great restaurants and shops that are about a 5-10 minute drive. There are farmers markets twice a week as well parks for kids who like to run and play!
The living room with a beautiful bar area has 12' high ceiling, and opens out to the covered lanai. View the flat screen TV from the lanai or from the comfortable sofa with plenty of space for relaxing. On the vary rare day the weather isn't perfect for the beach there are 2 flat screen TV's you will find several streaming channels for your entertainment.
The 6 person outdoor dining table along with the comfortable outdoor lanai couch and lounging chair are surrounded by the palms viewing out into the green yard. Lounge on covered patio during the day, or on one of our beautiful warm evenings.
Our kitchen is sweet and bright and fully equipped to cook beautiful meals for a dine-in experience.
We have a laundry area just outside the kitchen, a storage shed out back with all the beach toys, beach chairs and coolers you may use at the beach, and a BBQ on the lanai.
After a day at the beach there is a great bathroom with a shower out in front of the house under the carport perfect for showering after a day at the beach! Please be sure to wash the sand off of your feet with the hose before rinsing off in the shower or going into the home!
The master bedroom and living room have split AC’s if necessary, however we live in Hawaii and we are so blessed with great weather year round that opening up the windows to get the fresh air is usually all you need! Also, be sure to turn off the split AC's when leaving the home for the day if you need to use them.
For your entertainment on rainy days, or after an exhausting day playing at the beach, Wi-fi and movie channels are including on the 2 flat screen televisions including Disney Channel, Netflix, YouTube TV, Apple TV, Paramount, and PBS kids). We have a covered carport for 1 car, 1 car directly behind the carport, free street parking in the front of the house and a fully fenced yard in the back of the house. Unfortunately, we do not allow plug in for Electric Vehicles at this time, however we are a short drive away from several places in Kailua town where you can plug your EV in for FREE!
The property will be made exclusively available to the guest for a full period of 30-days and no one else may occupy the property during that time.
