The apartment has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer and cable TV. The fully equipped kitchen has black granite counters and attractive wooden cabinets, and there's a dining table as well as a breakfast bar. Interiors are brightly painted in yellow and beige hues, with tropical prints on the walls. You won't see the ocean from this ground-floor unit, but windows open on abundant greenery and colorful flowers. And the ocean is just down the road. Outside there's a boomerang-shaped pool, barbecue, tables, chairs and a hammock, surrounded by palm trees and gardens.

Brasilito ("Little Brazil") is the first town you come to on the paved coastal highway between Huacas in the south and Las Catalinas in the north. Brasilito is an unpretentious Costa Rican beach town with several small hotels and restaurants, none of them very extravagant. But this town does know how to party, as you'll find if you wander its bars by night, or come here when it sets up a lively little carnival and stages bullfights. La Carolina is between downtown Brasilito and the glitzier Flamingo. It's very close to a well-stocked little grocery store, a coffee shop, a bakery and other eateries.

Pet-friendly policy
We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

You will be contacted via email, text, or app notification with instructions to complete this process. As part of the verification, you will need to choose between paying a refundable security deposit (which includes a non-refundable 2% processing fee) or purchasing a non-refundable damage waiver, which protects you in case of accidental damage during your stay. We strongly recommend the damage waiver, as it provides peace of mind and avoids tying up funds with a deposit. Both the TRUVI verification and your selection of either the deposit or the damage waiver must be completed prior to your arrival. We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.
Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour.
