Broadbeach is located in the heart of Australia's most popular holiday playground. The Suburb of Broadbeach has two shopping centres in close proximity and numerous shops and world-class restaurants. Pacific Fair and Oasis shopping centres are both located off the Gold Coast Highway.
There are many events held in Broadbeach. In May The Blues on Broadbeach Music Festival is held every year and attracts some very renowned musicians and guests from all over the world.
Broadbeach also hosts other significant events including the Groundwater Country Music Festival (July), Gold Coast Super Hero Weekend (April) Surf Life Saving titles (April) and Gold Coast's most impressive carols by Candlelight (December).
If you are a lover of walking you can even book a food and wine tour where you will enjoy some of the Gold Coasts' best restaurants, bars and cafes. In small groups, you will discover new food experiences, unique locations and the delight of eating well (approx 3 hours)
Broadbeach is serviced by Surfside Buslines services, G:link operates two light rail stations in the suburb which connects Broadbeach with the hubs of Surfers Paradise and Southport. Broadbeach South bus station is the main bus station in Broadbeach.
The Gold Coast Oceanway provides pedestrians and cyclists access along the beaches of Broadbeach. The walks along the beach are some of the best in the world.
**This is a private residence and is not managed by the reception or hotel within the building. Hotel facilities on level 6 are not available to guest, however the recreation deck on level 20 with pool, fitness centre, yoga room, recreation deck and meeting rooms are available to our guests. All communication will be with your private host.**
There is no free parking at or near the casino, there is only paid parking. The casino charges $30 per day on weekdays and $60 per day on weekends.
Paid Parking is also available at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre which is a ten-minute walk over a scenic footbridge from The Star residences. Undercover car spaces are available at the Exhibition Centre for short-term parking, including two EV chargers. A $12 inclusive of GST flat rate is charged for parking at the centre. Clearance height: 2.1 metres
