Once home to Russell`s Antique Store and later a law office, this spacious property has been thoughtfully transformed into a charming home. With two distinct living areas at opposite ends of the house, it offers plenty of space to spread out. Two bedrooms feature king-size beds, while the third bedroom is furnished with full-size (double) bunk beds. The well-equipped kitchen provides an excellent space for gathering, and both bathrooms offer modern amenities with elegant touches.
Enjoy two outdoor spaces, one on the large, shaded front porch overlooking Government Street and the other in the private backyard, complete with plenty of seating.
Amenities include Wi-Fi, keyless entry, security alarm, smart TVs in both living areas and the primary bedroom, coffee, condiments, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup wipes), a fully equipped kitchen, in-unit laundry, iron and ironing board, and hair dryers. Off-street parking is available for up to 7 vehicles.
Guest will have access to all parts of the home.

This home is located in the popular Garden District, one of Baton Rouge`s oldest and historic neighborhoods. This area has recently undergone a revitalization and is one of the most in-demand locations. This home is on one of the primary bike paths and is walking distance or a short drive to popular restaurants and shops.
As with most places in Baton Rouge, car is the primary means of travel. The Garden District offers many tree lined streets with canopies of 100 year old Live Oaks that are great for walking around and taking in the beauty of the neighborhood. Parking it plentiful at the home. The driveway can easily accommodate 8 vehicles.

1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile. Please do not remove your ID from your profile at any point during the booking process, or your visit. This will trigger automatic cancellation of your reservation.
2. Please be mindful of noise during quiet hours.
3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.
4. Clean towels are a provided amenity, and there`s a washer and dryer in the unit if you need to refresh them during your stay.
5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.
6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. All rental platforms specifically ban parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction and a ban from the platform.
7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.
8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. Makeup towels are provided for you.
9. If the space is left excessively dirty, $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.
10. This home does not allow pets. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 fine.
11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo”, it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
12. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.
13. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.
14. Message us for long term stays.
15. All of our TV`s are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out.
16. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know no earlier than a few days prior to your reservation date, and we will determine if it`s possible. We are unable to confirm early check-in (or late check-out) requests for future dates. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through the platform after your additional time has been approved.
17. Must be 21 years of age or older to rent our home.
