Summary: Booked a room for my son, who is 21. He and 3 friends stayed at the hotel while in town to attend his brother's marine corp graduation. They are college kids who worked extra and saved money to get themselves there. They were not at the hotel much as we were busy with family day and graduation, and they went to the beach, downtown, and did other things. They said the staff treated them like they wished they weren't there. They were accused of getting a noise complaint during a time that they weren't at the hotel, they were told by staff "they suspected it was them", even though they had no proof and they had literally just came in from the beach so the complaint happened while they were out. I understand and appreciate hotels keeping guests from disturbing others. And I'm not saying they were never loud, maybe they deserved to be told to quiet down we some point. But, they were treated like they weren't welcome upon check-in, they told me that immediately. And then were accused of things they didn't do. They were paying customers, too. The only reason I booked the room was because I did it through an app. They should've been treated like guests.
