Positive: This location is a hidden gem, because it is in a more remote area of the island, but it is strategically placed in such in which you will achieve your best outcome in terms of accessibility and distance travelled to all the main objectives of Lefkada island. You wouldn't normally visit the small towns situated in the center of the island (Lazarata, Karya, Alexandros etc), so choosing this stay opened our possibilities towards this area which offers a vast network of overall well-maintained roads, which most of the time were clear, because most of the visitors were using the main roads. The facilities were complete and everything was pretty comfortable for us, but keep in mind that this is a reconditioned old house so the wood might have contracted in a few places. If you're a vintage fan this stay should not be missed. Our guest was very polite and helpful whenever we asked for information and even suggested some good activities and restaurants we could see on the island. When we visited at the start of September, in Alexandros there were still a couple of houses which were in a process of being reconditioned and some were pending to start. I can't wait to comeback here and see the entire village reconditioned as all the houses in Alexandros are traditional Greek stone houses.

Negative: The only impediment was the road which I had to take to get the car closer to the house. I am pretty sure this will improve in the near future and most likely all the houses nearby this one in Alexandros will be reconditioned and open for tourism.
