Nestled amidst lush greenery, this hidden gem offers a serene ambiance and an idyllic setting that will leave you rejuvenated and refreshed. As you step inside, you're greeted by a tastefully decorated interior that blends modern comfort with Hawaiian charm. The open-concept living area provides a cozy space to unwind, with a plush punee (day bed) and a flat-screen TV. Large windows allow natural light to flood the room and offer breathtaking views of the Waianae mountains.
The space
Front yard - Fully fenced and gated yard with privacy bamboo. Outdoor seating area with rugs and umbrella. Nicely appointed private hot-water outdoor shower. There are two dedicated parking spots directly in front of the house for use by guests. If you prefer, you can park within the gated yard (on the gravel) while still leaving room for the host/owner Phil to come and go.
Open-plan living room and kitchen - Punee (day bed), coffee table and chairs, flat screen TV. Dedicated workspace. Dining table and chairs, oversized kitchen island. Dishwasher and high-end coffee grinder (Baratza Encore Conical Burr Grinder) and coffee maker (Moccamaster).
Bedroom 1 (with closet) - flexible space with a trundle bed that can be set up as a twin bed (leaving space for a desk, yoga mat, etc) or a king bed.
Bedroom 2 - queen bed with storage in night stands. There is a hallway closet for use. This bedroom has a flat screen TV on the wall.
Bathroom - standard amenities and a stacked washer/dryer
Guest access
You will have complete access to the front half of the house. Your host/owner, Phil, lives part-time in the back half of the house. Your space is entirely separate from the host/owner, and is designed with your privacy in mind.
Other things to note
All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans for your comfort. Bedrooms have air conditioning. Most art featured in the space is by local Hawaii artist Rachel Roehl. Host/owner Phil has a 12-lb miniature Australian shepherd that lives part time at the property. He’s a sweet baby angel but if you prefer to not interact with the puppy, let him know and Phil can keep him in the back.
