The gardens have bush tucker plants, grevillias, flame trees, wattle, citrus trees (lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, kaffir lime, native lime), mulberry, black sapote (chocolate pudding), mangos, papaya and 'Dwarf Ducasse' bananas all year-round (no fruit bats in the area). There's also plenty of ornamental ginger, bromeliads and other tropical plants which makes the garden glow.
The house runs off two large concrete tanks, 70,000 litres. I've never been below half even in the last drought. The sewerage system is called 'Biocycle' with 3 sprinklers feeding into the garden.
