Escape to this gorgeous stone house with modern updates and top-quality furnishings. Situated on a large garden lot away from the road, you`ll feel secluded. But you`re still just a quick drive to all the amenities of Hendersonville. This historic home was built as part of a wellness retreat. It once housed priceless works of art owned by a Hungarian aristocrat who was rumored to have had Liberace as a houseguest. This escape is ideal for family gatherings, large groups, and luxury travelers.

Downstairs features the modern kitchen with 2 refrigerators, a Viking gas range, and everything you need to prepare and serve multi-course meals. Connected to the kitchen is a dining and gathering area with a smart TV. This room leads to the large dining room which connects to the living room. A convenient half bath is just around the corner from the kitchen. There is also a library / sitting nook with a smart TV. One of the master suites is on the main floor with its own full bathroom.
The upstairs features the second master suite with an ensuite full bath. This room is in the turret with round walls and exposed stone work. There is one other king suite upstairs with an attached full bathroom. The other 3 bedrooms upstairs share a full bathroom. Each upstairs bedroom has its own locking door.
There are multiple spaces outside where you can sit and gather including an outdoor dining table and fire pit.
You will have access to the entire house and the grounds. There is an unfinished basement that is locked to guest access. Also, there is a separate carriage house on the property that houses long-term tenants. Please do not attempt to access that unit and be respectful of their presence.
We ask that you treat the property with respect. This is a private residence. Please act as though you are a guest in someone’s home. :) Also, please acknowledge the following:
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. If this rule is not followed, you will be immediately removed from the property without refunds or compensation.
QUIET HOURS 10:00 PM - 9:00 AM. If any noise complaints are reported, you can expect a warning communication. If a second noise violation/complaint occurs, your reservation may be terminated.
MINIMUM BOOKING AGE IS 25. If you are under 25, do not make a reservation without contacting us for pre-approval. Failure to do so may result in termination of your reservation.
LOCAL RESIDENTS REQUIRE APPROVAL. If you live within 30 miles of the property, you must contact us for pre-approval. Otherwise, we reserve the right to terminate reservations made by local residents.
GUEST TOTAL MUST MATCH BOOKING. The correct number of guests must be on the reservation - This includes all guests entering the property at any point during the stay.
NO SMOKING OR DRUG USE. If smoking or drug use is detected inside the property after your check-out, we will request additional money for cleaning and/or file a claim against you for damages.
NO PETS ALLOWED. If any pets/animals are discovered at the property, you will be asked to remove the animal. If the pet/animal remains or damages are detected after your check-out (including but not limited to excrement, animal hair/fur, animal smell, chew/claw marks, etc.) we will request additional money for cleaning and repairs and/or file a claim against you for damages.
GUESTS ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY. By placing a reservation, you agree that all guests expressly assume the risk of harm or adverse events that may arise during the use of this property. Guests understand that they may purchase travel insurance to protect themselves in such situations. This insurance is not automatically provided or implied with your reservation. The property owners or managers are not liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur.
CHECK OUT ON TIME. Our cleaners are on a tight schedule and need to work in preparation for our next guests. If you require an earlier check-in or a later check-out, please request it in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you. Otherwise, we reserve the right to charge a $50 late check-out fee. Any guest who is still on the property after 2:00 pm on check-out day will be automatically charged for an extra night.
