Erato is spacious, light and airy, furnished in a modern style with the living accommodation spread over the first and second floors. Situated in its own enclosed garden with lawn, flower beds, a generous pool terrace and shaded barbecue and dining area. Just a short drive away is Ligia beach, a strip of sand and pebbles with a few umbrellas and sunbeds where you can swim with sand underfoot. Just up the hill to the coastal road you can find several simple local style tavernas. For more sophisticated tastes Argostoli, the capital, is just 10kms away. A great option is to drive to the start of the bridge and walk across to the other side for dinner, the walk back will be just what you need after an excellent dinner in the capital.
