Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We enjoyed at stay at Rest House, the owners were really lovely and even picked us up from the port which was a nice personal touch! It’s a short walk into town, and the beds were comfy! The AC worked well (although you did have to pay an extra $5 per day to use it), and they helped us to book a motorcycle which was great and it was a fantastic price!! A great place for a short stay!

Negative: We were one of the first guests to stay here so we didn’t have too much expectation! We were put in the room downstairs, not the one in the photos which was a bit of a shame as it didn’t have a TV or the nice balcony to sit on and didn’t have hot water, but that’s common in the area so we didn’t mind 😊 My suggestions to improve would be to perhaps have a mirror in the room/bathroom, some more pillows, and perhaps a nice warm lamp to make it a bit more homely as the white lights were a bit aggressive at night! But this place is still great for a short stay ☺️

Summary: Basic, but lovely hosts!
