The Property
You can find this unique property nestled in the foothills of the Gold Coast Hinterland. Situated on a 1.5-acre block, this comfortable holiday accommodation will set the foundation for a relaxing get away.
This 4-bedroom holiday rental is an ideal family or multi-group retreat on the Gold Coast and can accommodate up to 12 guests. Bring the family, or two and enjoy the best that the Gold Coast has to offer. Close to beaches, theme parks, world class sporting facilities, shopping and restaurants – you’ll wish you could stay longer.
The birdlife is abundant, with regular visits from Kookaburras, Cockatoos, Rainbow Lorikeets and many more. You might even be lucky enough to see the rare King Parrots or Black Cockatoos that have been spotted on the property. Not to mention the local kangaroos who can be seen early in the morning feeding up and down the street.

Situated on a 1.5-acre block, means there is lots of space to enjoy the inside and out.
This property is quite unique as there are 2 houses on the site, which share common grounds, like the pool, sports and grassed areas.
This holiday rental has exclusive use of an outdoor entertaining area, which is lovely to enjoy as the sun sets behind the mountain in the afternoon. Adjacent to the house is a sports area with basketball hoop, netball goal post and tennis / handball wall.
On the grounds we in the process of planting a fruit orchard. Guests will be able to help themselves to the many fruits on offer as they ripen. This is particularly impressive in the summer months with the mango tree in full bloom.
Guest access
The Gold Coast Hinterland Retreat is a 1.5 acre block with 2 properties on site. Only one of the properties is available for bookings.
The property is on the lower side of the street and therefore driveway is on an incline. There is room for two cars at front door level, but any cars parking on driveway or front nature strip will have to navigate the incline.
- Guests have full access to the house and back verandah of the listed property.
- The pool area is communal, as are the sports area and back of the property.
Other things to note
It is very important to us that we maintain high standards of facilities to our guests. Please be sure to let us know if something isn't working properly, or is in need of repair.
We understand that from time to time things can break or get damaged. Please be honest and let us know if this happens during your stay. Without this knowledge we are not able to replace broken items for future guests.
There are a number of different bedding configurations available upon request. It is our policy only to prepare bedding and linen for the number of guests confirmed in the booking. If you wish to have additional guests, or additional bedding prepared (i.e for guests who do not wish to share the king, queen or double beds), you will be charged the additional $30/night per person to compensate for laundering and reorganisation of furniture required to accommodate this request.
Whilst we understand that more often than not guests staying with us are here to enjoy a holiday, we ask that on departure instructions in pre-check out message be followed. Excessive cleaning, reorganisation of rubbish into correct bins, substantial spills that require professional cleaning, linen permanently marked with tan or make-up products may incur additional cleaning fees.
Additional rules
Unless previously arranged, check in is 3pm and check out 10am.
We would greatly appreciate if you could notify us of any damage or things not working as expected.
We kindly ask that guests who have had any tanning related products applied close to their stay bring appropriate tanning sheets to protect the linen. In the event that linen is stained, guests will be required to cover the costs of replacement.
On check out, guests are asked to empty the internal bins, leave all linen on the beds, put towels in the bathroom & clean and put away all dishes.
We kindly ask that only the number of guests booked remain at the property - please don't be offended if we query the number of guests based on number of cars present. Any guest with numbers exceeding the guest number booked, will be reported to Airbnb.
This property is STRICTLY a no party or event location. We will not tolerate Hen's Parties or any other event. Bookings will be cancelled immediately with NO refund if there is excessive noise and guest numbers exceeding paid staying guests identified by onsite manager.
It is our policy only to provide bedding for the number of guests stipulated in the booking. If you have guests who do not wish to share the king, queen or double bed, and subsequently require extra beds to be prepared, you will be charged the additional guest charges to compensate for laundering and removal of furniture to accommodate your requests.
Please do not be offended that we advertise that pets are not suitable nor welcome at this property. Our goal is provide a safe environment for people with allergies to enjoy their time away. Should you be found to have allowed a pet onto the property at any point during your stay, you will be liable for deep cleaning costs associated with carpets, lounges, rugs, linen and damages associated with having an animal on the premises. These costs start at $1300 and will be itemised and calculated on departure.
Vehicle numbers must be logged with host to ensure there is adequate parking and not cause inconvenience to neighbouring properties.
Whilst background music is welcomed in communal areas, it should be maintained at a level that you can easily hold a conversation.
We request quiet time at the property after 9pm. This means all communal areas are vacated, and noise is kept to a minimum.

Within 20mins, you can find yourself swimming at Surfers Paradise, dining in Broadbeach, surfing at Currumbin, shopping at Pacific Fair or Harbourtown, having a dally at The Star Casino, or on the Giant Drop at Dreamworld.
