Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Really nice to be right next to the water with hammocks, swings and a lovely view of the volcano. Staff were very friendly.

Negative: Very very basic facilities / room. We were the only guests there for 2 nights. The food was quite poor, including the local food. we were given off cheese with our pasta one night and had to return it. The electricity went off intermittently and not on during the day. No air con so very hot at night. Can rent bikes from them for cheap but the bikes were very old and rusty and clearly hadn't been used for a while as they had to get a man in to fix them before we could use them as they were malaligned. Whilst nice to be by the water, it's very far away from everything else on the island.

Summary: Very basic hostel, quite far out
